Obsidian is volcanic glass. Temporarily strung on fishline (no clasp). There are about 45 beads on an 8mm strand. Seems like these are obsidian strands. They've been with me for over ten years. They are shiny and pretty in their own way but not a black onyx way. 15 - 16 inches.
