OK, this carnelian and other carnelian like it, this deep orange, is probably dyed agate from Brazil. So I was told many years ago. Under an electron microscope it probably looks the same. Like Ghandi and Ghengis Khan from space. Temporarily strung (no clasp). There are about 35 beads on a 10mm strand.
